Ophthalmology department at TMH, is equipped with state-of-the-art investigational facilities in the outpatient department and a world class modular operation theatre having laminar air flow facility with HEPA filters and pressure gradients to ensure sterility and patient safety.

Lead by Dr. Bharti Sharma, a dedicated team of 5 consultants and 12 optometrists caters to the needs of at least 200-300 patients a day, in all sub-specialities of ophthalmology. The department offers comprehensive eye care facility for different ocular disorders namely, cornea, glaucoma, lids, lacrimal sac and retinal diseases.

Minor operations are done in Minor OT in TMH OPD, and all major surgeries are performed in Main OT of TMH.
